Semiconductor quantum dots are a promising material system for realizing single photon sources. To use quantum dots as single photon sources, high-quality quantum dots must be grown at low density to enable characterization of each individual dot and facilitate deterministic integration of these quantum dots into cavities.

We at iSensIRs have grown high-quality indium arsenide quantum dots using an MBE system with controllable QD density.

*Photoluminescence data were acquired at 77K using a basic PL setup. Further characterization is in progress.
